Founded in 1992, CIRA Education is the largest integrated provider of educational services in the Egyptian private sector.

CIRA operates 27 schools with 34K students for the academic year 2023/2024 and owns 2 universities, Badr University in Cairo (BUC) and Badr University in Assiut, with a total student body of 20K in 26 different faculties.

With the majority of the Group’s schools operating under its own ‘Futures’ brand, CIRA caters predominantly to the fragmented middle-income segment, offering premium curriculum at affordable pricing.

CIRA is also active in the higher-education segment with its Badr University in Cairo (BUC) launched in 2014 and Badr University in Assiut launched in September 2022. Both universities house 26 faculties as of the 23/24 academic year.

Subsequent to CIRA’s 51% acquisition Innovette in January 2021, the early education start-up rolled out three nurseries under two distinct brands, KidzGround and Steamulation Hub, in less than 9 months, with more than 100 students already enrolled before the end of the year. 2023 saw CIRA inaugurate Discovery Campus, a new nursery brand targeting the middle-income segment. Its latest expansion into nurseries is part and parcel in CIRA’s overall mission to becoming a larger and more resilient multi-platform educational service provider.

CIRA Education’s close partnership with its subsidiary, Edu Systems International (ESI) furnishes our institutions with a world-class academic and technical support systems. ESI’s Content Management System houses all educational content for every CIRA school. This centralized content development system allows standardization of coursework and examinations across all CIRA institutions, which stress content-centric as opposed to teacher-centric methodologies.

ESI also provides extensive training and career development for aspiring teachers, hiring the best pool of talent from each semiannual training program. CIRA schools enjoy the services of highly-qualified recruits prepared by ESI’s programs. Besides its roles in content development and recruitment, ESI also provides CIRA with top-quality marketing services.
